Physical Video got its start as a Psychodevilia reboot. It was an attempt to return to the industrial remote collaboration project it started as, before the live band came together. The first track was a re-recording of Joy, and several other early tracks had that gloomy somewhat-evil vibe. After a few months, it started moving in a more personal, introspective direction, and a name change was in order. A Devilish Copy is a collection of tracks from that earlier aesthetic, some recorded at a time when we were still calling ourselves Psychodevilia.
